GENESIS AND THE GENESIS INSPIRATION FOUNDATION SUPPORT STEAM EDUCATION AT GENESIS OF CHARLOTTE GRAND OPENING


CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 6, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Genesis Gives, the corporate social responsibility initiative from Genesis Motor America, and the Genesis Inspiration Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to supporting education through the arts, collectively donated $30,000 to advance science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education in Charlotte. Thrive Global Project received $10,000 from Genesis Gives and Do Greater Charlotte received $20,000 from the Genesis Inspiration Foundation and Genesis of Charlotte.

Based in Charlotte, Thrive Global Project is a nonprofit organization that empowers underserved students and communities by increasing racial and gender equity to enable economic mobility through access to innovative programs and quality educational opportunities. The donation will be used to provide programming and scholarships to local Charlotte college students enrolled in STEAM degrees and by providing backpacks and resources to local students involved in sporting activities.
