For the 2nd Consecutive Year Brand Finance Names TD the #1 Brand in Canada


Today, Brand Finance announced that TD leads the way in brand value across Canada, for the second consecutive year, according to Brand Finance's latest Canada 100 report.

Every year, Brand Finance, the world's leading brand valuation consultancy, puts 6,000 of the world's biggest brands to the test and publishes over 100 reports, ranking brands across a number of sectors and countries. Canada's 100 most valuable and strongest brands are included in the Brand Finance Canada 100 report.

TD has shown strong performance in Brand Finance's latest consumer reseach. Across Canada, Familiarity has increased from 71% to 84%, and nearly a third of Canadians expressed that they currently use TD services.



"The distinction by Brand Finance of being the most valuable brand in Canada, for the second year running, is an important recognition of the strength of our iconic brand both internally and externally." said Tyrrell Schmidt, Chief Marketing Officer, TD Bank Group. She goes on to say, "This is a very proud moment for TD. In addition, TD's commitment to sustainability has received recognition in Brand Finance's research. TD is the highest-perceived banking brand by Canadian respondents for the environmental dimension and second for social and governance. TD recently unveiled its three-year, USD 20 billion Community Impact Plan, aimed at empowering diverse and underserved communities across its presence in the United States.


Through the 2023 TD Ready Challenge, TD also awarded a total of $10 million in grants to non-profit organizations selected under the Challenge that are working on innovative solutions to help address barriers to affordable housing. Under TD Climate Action Plan, which serves as the Bank's Transition Plan, TD continues to advance on the Bank's sustainability goals and role as a corporate citizen.
