Alterna Equity Partners ("AEP"), a South Florida-based lower middle-market private equity firm, is proud to announce that its managing partner, Robert Konrad, has been asked to join the Economic Council of Palm Beach County as a full member, and unanimously approved by the board.

"I thank the board for their vote of confidence and for providing me the opportunity to serve on the Economic Council of Palm Beach County," said Robert Konrad, managing partner, AEP. "Years ago, I had the opportunity to serve the people of Florida as a member of the FL SBA Investment Advisory Council (the 4th largest State Pension Fund in the Country). "Mr. Konrad's nomination as a full member to the Economic Council as unanimously approved at our last board of directors and Membership Committee Meetings," said Michele Jacobs, president and CEO, Economic Council of Palm Beach County. "I offer my sincere gratitude for his interest in joining the Economic Council as he will provide valuable insight into the issues that our industry faces and together, we will collaborate to continue to make Palm Beach County the best place to live, work and grow!"
