FNK IR Bolsters Organization to Support Recent Growth; Adds Capital Markets Veteran Robert Meyers as VP of Investor Relations & Capital Markets

FNK IR, a leading investor relations consultancy specializing in smaller public companies, today announced that it has expanded its exclusively-senior team to support recent growth with the hiring of four talented industry veterans, Robert "Bob" Meyers as VP of Investor Relations & Capital Markets, Tom Baumann as VP of Investor Relations, Stephen Lee as VP of Market Intelligence, and Jeremy Pinchot as VP of ESG.

Rob Fink, Managing Partner of FNK IR, added, "We are investing in top talent to build a modern IR consultancy, adept at solving the increasingly complex challenges that smaller public companies face in the capital markets. Tom, Steve, Jeremy and now Bob, bring complementary expertise in market maker relations, as well as experience as a buyside trader, an ESG specialist, and a corporate access leader, enabling us to enhance the tangible value that we bring to clients. FNK IR is built to scale with one of the most differentiated investor relations teams on the Street."

Most recently, Robert "Bob" Meyers joined FNK IR as Vice President of Investor Relations & Capital Markets, bringing over 20 years of sell-side and investor relations consulting experience to the firm. Bob has led corporate access teams and issuer services for BNY Mellon, RBC Capital Markets, and Banc of America Securities. Previously, he was with Thomson Financial (formerly Carson Group), specializing in financial communications, valuation & scenario analysis, and investor targeting & engagement for global corporate clients. He began his career in corporate finance with IBM and has served as an adjunct instructor at NYU teaching courses on investor relations. He holds a Master of Science degree in Management & Systems from NYU, a Masters in Financial Management from Pace University, and received his Bachelors in Business from Franklin and Marshall College.

"I'm thrilled to be joining FNK IR at a critical time when smaller companies need capable IR support more than ever, and the skills of legacy firms simply cannot meet modern challenges," commented Meyers. "In contrast to the legacy agency model, FNK IR stood out to me with its team approach, capital markets expertise, deep relationships, unmatched creativity and tireless hustle. I'm looking forward to putting my years of sell-side and finance expertise and network to work for FNK IR's growing roster of global clients."

Matt Chesler, CFA, Partner of FNK IR, added, "Bob is a fantastic addition to our growing team of highly experienced IR and capital markets professionals. He bringsa deep understanding of investors, a significant track record in the capital markets, and is a highly respected connector within the investment community. Having known Bob for years, I'm confident that he will add tremendous value to FNK IR's global client base."

Meyers joins three other recent additions to the FNK team:

Tom Baumann, Vice President of Investor Relations: Baumann brings over 25 years of experience in investor relations, corporate relations and business development, having most recently served as the Head of Corporate Relations and Business Development for the NYSE-designated market making (DMM) business of Goldman Sachs and then IMC, providing valuable insights to 600 NYSE-listed clients. Prior to his time within the New York Stock Exchange community, Baumann served as the Director of Investor Relations at Newcourt Credit Group, Inc. (formerly AT&T Capital Corporation), where he received the Alexander Hamilton Award for Excellence in Investor Relations from Treasury & Risk Magazine. Baumann earned a B.S. in Finance from Seton Hall University and an M.B.A. in International Business from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Stephen Lee, Vice President of Market Intelligence: Lee joined FNK IR from Boston Partners Global Investors, Inc. / Weiss, Peck & Greer LLC, where for the past 20 years, he was the dedicated trader of the WPG Partners strategies funds, including long/short hedge funds, small cap value funds, microcap value fund and concentrated value fund with approximately $1.6 billion in assets under management. Lee has a degree in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jeremy Pinchot, Vice President of ESG: Pinchot brings significant capital markets and Environmental, Social, and Governance ("ESG") experience to FNK IR. Most recently, he served as VP of Strategic Initiatives and as a Compliance Officer for Ranger Capital Group based in Dallas, TX, where he chaired Ranger's ESG Advisory Committee and led the integration of ESG into Ranger's investment process. Prior to joining Ranger Capital Group, Pinchot was a Managing Director in investment banking for ThinkGreen Global Advisors, spent 12 years as an equity analyst and Co-Director of Research for Monness, Crespi & Hardt, a NY-based boutique equity research firm, and worked in senior roles as an equity analyst with Gilford Securities and as an SVP for ICR, a global investor relations firm.
