ComputerCare Certified by The Women's Business Enterprise National Council

Under the leadership of CEO Georgia Rittenberg, ComputerCare, a world-class technology repair provider for warranty and non-warranty computers, mobile devices and servers, has been officially certified as a Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) through the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). The WBE initiative not only helps increase the representation and fair treatment of women in the workforce but also shines a light on business owners that are BIPOC women.

"At ComputerCare, we think it's important to take a stand - as a woman-led tech company - to show our clients and competitors that we believe in the power of leadership by women," said Georgia Rittenberg, CEO of ComputerCare, a role she has held for the past 5 years. "When we support and represent woman-owned businesses, we also support and represent the minority entrepreneurs who lead many of these businesses."

ComputerCare's WBENC certification is considered the gold standard for women-owned businesses and is accepted by more than 1,000 corporations, in addition to some states, cities, and other entities. The WBENC standard of certification is a meticulous process, including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51 percent owned, controlled, operated, ad managed by a woman or women.

As a Women's Business Enterprise, ComputerCare joins the ranks of nearly 13 million women-owned businesses in the United States, accounting for 42% of all U.S. businesses. A recent McKinsey study concluded that companies with the most gender, ethnic and cultural diversity are more likely to outperform their less diverse peers. Yet, the technology industry continues to lag when it comes to creating a diverse working environment, with women making up just 25% of the tech workforce.
