Goldman Sachs selected Amir Ben-Efraim as one of 100 entrepreneurs from multiple industries to be honored at the two-day event. Ben-Efraim, a veteran of the cybersecurity industry, founded Menlo Security with a mission to provide a new approach to security that leverages a cloud-based platform (Security Service Edge) to eliminate malware, phishing, and ransomware attacks. An entrepreneur at heart, Ben-Efraim previously founded Altor Networks, where he also served as CEO. Altor Networks was acquired by Juniper Networks (News - Alert), where Amir served as the company's vice president of cloud security, defining the strategy for securing virtualized data centers and publicand private clouds.

For far too long, security companies have been content to pacify customers with detect-and-remediate solutions that are no match for today's highly evasive malware threats. Menlo Security has pioneered an entirely reimagined, impervious approach to security built on Zero Trust principles that leverages isolation as a core architectural pillar. It's the only way to truly eliminate malware, secure work, and protect productivity-the things that matter most to businesses and end users.

"Protecting against cyber risk is a top priority for the customers we serve, which include some of the most demanding enterprises and governments worldwide," said Ben-Efraim. "This recognition is a testament to the efforts of our team, who innovate and find new ways to deliver value to our customers every day."

"Innovation doesn't happen just anywhere; it thrives where there's a wide range of thoughts and perspectives," said David M. Solomon, Chairman & CEO of Goldman Sachs. "One of our great strengths is our ability to bring together people from different walks of life and to spark conversations today that will lead to breakthroughs tomorrow. The leaders we've chosen to highlight at our Builders + Innovators Summit are truly remarkable, and we are pleased to recognize Amir as one of this year's most intriguing entrepreneurs."

In addition to honoring 100 entrepreneurs, the summit consists of general sessions and clinics led by seasoned entrepreneurs, academics, business leaders, and resident scholars.
