What makes the SoftwareReviews Emotional Footprint different? This isn't your standard review process. We include aggregated emotional response ratings in the areas of service, negotiation, product impact, conflict resolution, and strategy and innovation to create a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and its product - all from the software users' point of view. We call this insight the Net Emotional Footprint.

"In today's climate, finding good project management software is more important than ever. The pandemic has accelerated the move to remote work and it demands project management tools that can continuously assess the progress of projects that are being executed off-premises," says Ugbad Farah, senior research analyst, Info-Tech Research Group. "Our Emotional Footprint Report shows that while cost is always a decision driver, things like service experience, contract negotiation, and product impact are extremely important when selecting a vendor in this space. This is inline with our client conversations. Organizations want project management solutions that are easy to use, vendors that will support them while implementing, and functionality that helps them perform better."

Wrike, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +98, exceeded user expectations for product enhancement, and security projects. Workfront, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +93, was top-ranked for saving time, and ranked strongly on enabling productivity, enhancing performance, and integrity. Basecamp, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +96, was recognized for enhancing performance, enabling productivity, reliability, helping to innovate, transparency, fairness, trustworthiness, and altruism. LiquidPlanner, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +93, excelled in putting clients' interests first and friendly negotiation.

In general, Project Management users were most satisfied with vendor reliability - and were most dissatisfied with vendors over-promising and under-delivering.

SoftwareReviews Emotional Footprint Awards recognize outstanding vendors in the technology marketplace as evaluated by their users annually.
