Eight Newman Ferrara Attorneys Make List of New York's Super Lawyers, Rising Stars, and Top 100

Newman Ferrara LLP (www.nfllp.com) announced today that named partner Lucas A. Ferrara has once again been rated one of New York's "Top 100" legal professionals in the 2020 edition of New York Metro Super Lawyers Magazine - marking his fourth year straight year on the list. In addition, six other firm attorneys were ranked as "Super Lawyers," including partners Jonathan H. Newman, Jarred I. Kassenoff, and Jeffrey M. Norton, Of Counsel, Randolph M. McLaughlin, Debra S. Cohen, and senior associate Roger Sachar. In addition, associate Noe Solorzano was named as a "Rising Star."

"It is not by chance that so many of our attorneys were honored this year. In fact, year after year, our attorneys have been recognized as the top practitioners in their respective fields. And, because our firm offers such a wide array of practice areas, it is particularly satisfying to be recognized for the breadth of skills, experience, and commitment we provide to our clients," noted managing partner and firm co-founder, Jonathan H. Newman.

To develop the annual Super Lawyers listings, researchers with Thomson (News - Alert) Reuters solicit nominations from attorneys across the New York metro region. A blue-ribbon panel assists with final selections, and less than 5 percent of eligible attorneys earn selection. The full lists are available online at http://www.superlawyers.com, and the Super Lawyers list appears in both The New York Times Magazine and New York Super Lawyers magazine.

Named partners Jonathan H. Newman and Lucas A. Ferrara focus their practice on real estate and commercial litigation representing real-estate developers, contractors, building owners, Fortune 500 corporations, condominium and cooperative boards, and tenants' associations. Firm partner Jarred I. Kassenoff and associate Noe Solorzano concentrate their practice in the areas of complex commercial real estate disputes, insolvency issues, zoning and tax matters. Mr. Kassenoff has published numerous articles in the New York State Bar Association Journal and the New York Law Journal, and is regularly quoted in The New York Times for his real estate expertise.

He is currently litigating a number of high profile cases and has represented clients in a number of widely reported cases at the trial court and appellate level.
