Relativity Showcases a New Way to Analyze Short Message and Mobile Data in RelativityOne at Annual Relativity Fest London

LONDON, May 21, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Relativity today announced new short message and mobile analysis features available in RelativityOne—the SaaS product now used around the globe for legal discovery and digital investigations—alongside news that Anexsys, KPMG Ireland, and IT Group UK can now offer RelativityOne for their e-discovery matters.

Relativity

The news came from Relativity's founder and CEO, Andrew Sieja, and chief product officer Chris Brown during the keynote address at Relativity Fest London.

One key area of focus Sieja and Brown highlighted is the shift to a people-centric review through the new communication analysis and short message capabilities available in RelativityOne. Rather than focusing on the documents, investigators and attorneys will now be able to better follow the actions of the people involved in a matter.

RelativityOne can automatically assemble all of an individual's email addresses into a single entity that can be carried over from case to case, and that entity can be enriched with new information about the individual as you discover it. Investigators and attorneys can then use communication analysis to explore the interactions and relationships between entities to see who's been talking to whom and how often.

It's also easy to follow how people communicate in real life with the ability to review short messages like text or Slack in the same way you would in the native application. With short message discovery, you can even track conversations across channels for additional context and to understand the relevance of a conversation.

"Our RelativityOne customers are approaching their business in new ways – leading with security, taking on matters in new regions, and developing unique areas of expertise leveraging the latest capabilities of RelativityOne," said Sieja. "The platform is primed to service our global business thanks to the enthusiasm of the EMEA community we're celebrating here today."

One example of this growth happening is with Magic Cicle law firm Allen & Overy, which has transformed its in-house e-discovery portfolio into a robust global offering since becoming RelativityOne customers last year.

"Adopting RelativityOne has enabled us to increase efficiencies across multiple jurisdictions.  This ultimately benefits our clients in the form of reduced eDiscovery bills. Our ability to now offer our clients integrated technology and legal services significantly enhances our core global legal offering, as does the ability to partner directly with our clients to develop innovative solutions to their specific challenges," said Scott Robson, Global Head of e-Discovery, Allen & Overy.

Relativity Fest London featured over 20 speakers from the likes of Allen & Overy, Simmons & Simmons, and Fenwick & West, and more than 15 unique sessions designed to further educate and connect the EMEA legal community around topics like data privacy and machine learning. Many of the sessions and workshops highlighted Relativity's presence and growth in areas outside of e-discovery, including the company's continued momentum in the proactive compliance space with Relativity Trace and the introduction of the Relativity Trace Partner Program.

This year's conference also included a presentation from David Rowan, founding editor-in-chief of Wired UK and author of Non-Bullshit Innovation, where he highlighted how businesses across the globe can take a transformative approach to innovation.
