Radiant Logic Earns FIPS 140-2 Validation for Encryption

Radiant Logic, the leading provider of the federated identity and directory service, today announced the immediate availability of RadiantOne with FIPS 140-2 validated encryption.

Radiant Logic recently achieved the FIPS 140-2 validation after an independently accredited lab put the Radiant Logic Cryptographic Module for Java through a series of tests. After proving conformance with the FIPS 140-2 standard, the module's test report was sent to CMVP, the Cryptographic Module Validation Program, operated by the United States National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (CCCS), a branch of the Communications Security Establishment (CSE). Their joint office confirmed compliance and issued certificate #3452.

"Radiant Logic has an extensive history with federal agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, the USDA, and the Department of State. Our technologies have evolved in step with and informed by our work in the federal sector," says Michel Prompt, founder and CEO of Radiant Logic. "We are thrilled to complete certification so that we can continue to enable identity projects in these landmark organizations."

The RadiantOne FID federated identity and directory service is now eligible to be proured by U.S. federal agencies, government service providers, and other organizations that require products to be certified to meet security standards for protecting sensitive information. It also supports RadiantOne's deployment in regulated industries like healthcare, utilities, or insurance.

"Radiant Logic has long been a proven asset to the public sector, and this certification allows federal agencies to take full advantage of their very unique identity integration offerings. Completing the FIPS validation process demonstrates their commitment to security and to best serving the federal marketplace," said SafeLogic CEO Ray Potter. "We're pleased that Radiant Logic partnered with SafeLogic to complete their FIPS 140-2 validation initiative quickly and easily!"

Radiant Logic will release RadiantOne 7.3 in June 2019. The new release will feature major updates to performance, usability, and cloud provisioning and access.
