Rasmussen College Celebrates National Nurses WeekRasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, joins the American Nurses Association (ANA) to celebrate National Nurses Week, May 6-12, 2019.1 The ANA has celebrated National Nurses Week annually since 1993 with Rasmussen College honoring the week College-wide since 2005. The week is dedicated to celebrating and elevating the nursing profession and is a time for everyone - individuals, employers, healthcare professionals, community leaders and nurses, themselves - to recognize the vast contributions and positive impact of the country's more than 4 million registered nurses. This National Nurses Week, the College is also honoring and celebrating the critical work nurses do. This year's theme, 4 Million Reasons to Celebrate, will be recognized across the College's 23 campuses and its online community.
