ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 9, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Research Innovations, Inc. is excited to announce that Contracts and Supply Chain VP, Michelle Adams, has been elected to serve on a national committee in the National Contract Management Association (NCMA), the world's leading professional resource for contracts managers.

Earlier this month, Michelle Adams was elected by the membership of NCMA to serve on its board committees in the furtherance of excellence in the contracting profession.  Founded in 1959, NCMA is the premier association in the world that provides training, development, and certifications to enable contracts professionals to master today's challenges and create tomorrow's opportunities. Through its national committees, NCMA addresses such topics as professional education, standards and ethics, and governance in support of the contracts profession.

With over 27 years of experience in the defense industry and intelligence community, Ms. Adams is currently the Vice President of Contracts and Supply Chain for RII, a cutting-edge software development company, where she is responsible for all contracting, subcontracting, and export-import operations support.  Prior to her time at RII, Ms. Adams led a team of contracts professionals in support of a $1B portfolio in Raytheon's Intelligence, Information and Services business, where she was instrumental in growing Raytheon's cybersecurity footprint.  Prior to Raytheon, Ms. Adams was a Contracting Officer in the Central Intelligence Agency, following almost a decade in Naval Sea Systems Command's Contracts Directorate where she executed all levels of acquisition planning and implementation in support of the Aegis Weapon System and Foreign Military Sales for the Japanese and Spanish fleets.
