Kneron hires former Qualcomm's Vice President Business Development Adrian Ong as CCOTAIPEI, Taiwan, April 3, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Kneron, the leading provider of edge artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, announced today the recruitment of Adrian Ong, the former Vice President Business Development at Qualcomm, as Kneron's Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). During Adrian's 25-year tenure at Qualcomm, he held several positions including business development, product management, and engineering in Qualcomm CDMA Technology (QCT) division. He has global commercialization experience helping launch key Qualcomm technologies and products in US, Japan, Korea, Europe, and China markets. Most recently Adrian lead Qualcomm China's Business Development group responsible for partnerships with China's wireless operators including China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom and internet services providers like Baidu, Alibaba and Tencent aligning strategic objectives and chipset roadmaps between Qualcomm and the various companies. As Kneron's CCO, Adrian will be responsible for the company's business development, sales, marketing, and branding worldwide. In addition, he will help Kneron to continue to grow its business in Asia and the US markets and expansion into the European market.
