Launch of Electric Vehicle Week - March 25 to 31, 2019

MONTRÉAL, March 14, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - Montréal Auto Prix is thrilled to announce that Quebec's first Electric Vehicle Week will take place March 25 to 31, 2019. This initiative follows the Government of Quebec's offer of a $4,000 rebate to encourage drivers to purchase electric vehicles.

Electric Vehicle Week will feature a range of activities at 5600 Metropolitan Blvd. East, where Quebec's former Minister of Energy and NaturalResources gave a speech in 2016 to underscore the inauguration of the province's first facility exclusively dedicated to selling used hybrid and electric vehicles.

Several activities have been planned throughout the week:

• Renowned speakers will talk about the latest developments in the electric vehicle industry.
• The Association des véhicules électriques du Québec (AVÉQ) will offer participants the opportunity to test drive electric vehicles during the weekend of March 30-31. • Free passes to the Montreal electric Vehicle Show will be handed out to visitors.
• Electric battery recharges will be free throughout the week at Montréal Auto Prix's level 2 and 3 charging stations.
