McAdam brings a proven track record of leadership at Seattle technology companies at both the executive and board level, successfully guiding major players including Tableau and Apptio into new and adjacent markets and through major equity events. McAdam served as President and CEO of F5 Networks from 2000-2017. During his tenure at F5, McAam cemented the company's leadership in the application delivery controller market, increased annual revenue from $100 million to $2 billion, and earned F5 a spot on the S&P 500 stock index. McAdam currently serves on the F5 Networks Board of Directors and is a board member for Tableau Software and Nutanix. Prior to joining F5, McAdam held management and executive positions at IBM (News - Alert) and Sequent Computer Systems. Recognized as a leader in Seattle's technology community, McAdam has received numerous honors including Puget Sound Business Journal's 2013 Executive of the Year, and Seattle Business Magazine's 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award. McAdam earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Glasgow, Scotland.
