Scout RFP Puts Sourcing Center Stage at Second Annual SPARK Conference

Scout RFP, the Sourcing and supplier engagement platform, today announces its second annual SPARK conference from Feb. 26-27 at the SFJAZZ Center. At SPARK 2019, more than 600 Sourcing and Procurement professionals from around the globe will learn new strategies and tools to make commerce less risky, faster, and more transparent than ever before.

Attendees will walk away with tips on how to lead Sourcing with a new tempo and how to position it at the center of their business strategy. Additionally, they will hear from an impressive lineup of speakers from leading brands including Adobe (News - Alert), Anaplan, Biogen, LendingTree, Salesforce, Workday, and Zappos.

"SPARK will bring together the best and brightest minds for a productive environment of discussion, with more than 20 sessions focusing on problems we're all working to solve in our businesses," said Scout RFP President Stan Garber. "Our venue, the SFJAZZ Center, meets a specific, unique need for the community as the 'first free-standing building in America built for jazz performance and education.' Similarly, SPARK is designed to meet the unique needs of a specific audience of Procurement and Sourcing professionals around the world."

One of the featured keynotes will be given by Jeff Immelt, former CEO of General Electric and Venture Partner at NEA. Immelt's session, Leading Through Change and Focused Transformation, will dive deep into transformation, and demonstrate how Sourcing and Procurement can be a catalyst of change for any organization.

Additional SPARK speakers include Kathleen Wong of Adobe, Sarah Toomey of Anaplan, Hugo Evans of AT Kearney, Bob Amareld and Liz Knapp of Biogen, Brian Peters of Gilead Sciences, Michael J. Leiken of LendingTree, Teresa Liptak, Chetan Ghatge and Jason Waller of McKinsey, Jeff Immelt of NEA, Natasha Gurevich from Salesforce, Allen Gannett of Skyword, Namejs Kins of Unitywater, Anagha Kale of VMware, Kate Renwick-Espinosa of VSP Global, Kenny Chasten of Wellmark, John Bruno and Betsy Bland of Workday, Nimfa Delos Santos of Zappos, Stuart Andrews of Zebra Technologies (News - Alert), and Rendi Miller of Zendesk.
