SS8 Delivers the First Lawful Intercept Solution Complying With Japan NPA Handover Interface (HI) as Specified by the Prestigious National Police Agency (NPA). As part of the Handover Interface solution, SS8 Xcipio provides transcoding capability of voice codecs. While the Service Providers allow wider usage of codecs for better voice quality and bandwidth utilization, Xcipio provides transcoding capability of target's voice calls that use EVS and AMR voice codecs to G.711 with real-timedelivery to LEA. The transcoding function is seamlessly handled by Xcipio without any imposition on the Service Provider or the LEA equipment. SS8 Xcipio also supports Handover Interface requirement seamlessly for voice mono delivery by converting target's stereo audio into mono audio with real-time delivery.
