Adore Me, the e-Commerce Lingerie Disruptor, has officially opened its distribution center in Secaucus

SECAUCUS, N.J., Jan. 10, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Adore Me, the disruptive e-commerce lingerie startup, expands with Adore Me Services (AMS) by opening a cutting-edge distribution center utilizing robotics technology.

The company, which has been ranked three times on both Crain's Fast 50 list of fastest-growing companies in New York and on the Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America, chose to open its own distribution center in order to streamline its operations and accommodate the fast-paced growth of the business.

Last year, the digital native brand announced the opening of physical retail stores. The roll out has already started with two stores open to date. The new distribution center will support the fulfillment of product to the stores. The opening of AMS can is also an integral part of the company's second phase into expanding internationally.

The 126,286-square-foot distribution center houses a highly-automated order management process; state-of-the-art technology brings the warehouse to life – the two main elements being the Autostore and the SureSort. AMS is one of the first in the industry to combine the two technologies. Thanks to these innovations, the new warehouse is fulfilling over 20 thousand orders per day which represents four times the volume of a conventional distribution center. In addition to speed, orders are completed to a lower cost and with increased accuracy. The distribution center currently employs approximately 100 people, out of which 75% are female. Females are historically underrepresented in the industry, and in line with the female empowerment mission of the brand, Adore Me is actively working to change that.
