Photon Control Selects Leading Japanese DistributorVANCOUVER, Jan. 10, 2019 /CNW/ - Photon Control Inc. ("Photon Control" or the "Company") (TSX: PHO), a leading developer and supplier of optical measurement technologies to the global semiconductor industry, is pleased to announce it has entered into a distribution agreement with Japan Laser Corporation ("JLC"), a leading distributor of lasers and other optical equipment in Japan. Japan Laser Corporation, based in Tokyo, was established in 1968 and is Japan's oldest laser trading company, distributing lasers, optical equipment, and optical sensors. They also provide integrated optical solutions for semiconductor and other industrial applications, distributing products for some of the largest suppliers of critical subsystems to the semiconductor industry. JLC will distribute Photon Control's fiber optic temperature and position sensors, used for advanced process monitoring by the world's largest wafer fabrication equipment manufacturers. "We estimate the total available market for ou products in Japan to be greater than $100 million over the next five years.
