As a special holiday promotion, gamers who buy two AQtion AQN-107 Gaming NICs will receive a 25% discount on their total purchase on Amazon. The promotion will take place from 12AM Black Friday (News - Alert) to Cyber Monday November 26th 11:59PM. It's the perfect opportunity to save a fellow gamer from dreaded lag and latency while grabbing some bragging rights for yourself.

"Gaming first! It' the gamer's battle cry when it comes to gaining a competitive edge," said LK Bhupathi, Vice President of Marketing at Aquantia. "First, Aquantia conquered the hardware side with the first consumer Multi-Gig PC solutions running up to 10G. Now, the AQtion Command Center software allows the gamer to prioritize applications and customize network settings by application. The unprecedented reduction in lag and latency provides a reaction time advantage which can mean the difference between 'owning' your opponent and being owned."

AQtion Command Center is designed to provide a congestion-free, low-latency network experience for gaming, streaming and other time-critical PC applications. Users can control both the upload and download rates and "pin" applications according to these priority levels:

  • Critical Priority - where the user requires the utmost performance, such as games.
  • High Priority - for applications that enhance the gameplay experience such as Discord for team chat.
  • Normal Priority - is valuable to Twitch streamers for interacting with their audiences.
  • Low Priority - is for those applications that can be served on a best-effort basis while gaming.

AQtion Command Center provides extended control over all network dependent applications running on the PC. Traffic originating from latency-sensitive applications is automatically detected and is assigned a Critical Priority status. Traffic originating from less important applications, is limited to the lowest bandwidth possible - a level that is in fact lower than the actual bandwidth provided by the ISP. The user can still customize the priority status to suit their individual needs at any time.
