These experiences are not only a series of individual accounts but an epidemic - the result of a systemic problem that A CALL TO MEN has been addressing since its inception," said Ted Bunch, chief development officer for A CALL TO MEN. "It's that history - the many moments in the movement - that have informed and laid the foundation for this incredible moment in time. We are privileged to recognize this year's honorees, each of whom have helped pave the way for progress. A CALL TO MEN is honored and humbled to have worked alongside and learned from such visionary leaders." The event included a special video feature by #MeToo Founder Tarana (News - Alert) Burke, emphasizing the importance of engaging men in the movement to end violence against women, and highlighted A CALL TO MEN's worldwide effort to educate men on healthy, respectful manhood, and prevent violence and discrimination against all women and girls.
