Sacramento Residents Can Build a Career in Healthcare with New Community Health Worker Pathway Program Partnership between Health Net, Sacramento City College, Greater Sacramento Urban League and WellSpace Health

Health Net, Sacramento City College, Greater Sacramento Urban League
and WellSpace Health have partnered to bring the Community Health
Worker Certificate Program to the Greater Sacramento Urban League.
This program will help more community members begin a career in the
health care field. This partnership will also help residents and
their families navigate the healthcare system.
This one-year, collaborative program will provide students the
necessary academic and financial support to help ensure their
success. Program participants can qualify for a Health Net
scholarship. Eligible students may also apply for consideration to
receive additional support services which may help to cover
transportation, dependent care, rent and other costs.
