Jamf Expands Technology Integration with Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + SecurityMINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Jamf Nation User Conference – Jamf, the standard in Apple ecosystem management, previewed its expanded Microsoft technology integration to create a more seamless login experience for end users. With Jamf Pro, Jamf Connect and Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS), users can log in to a new Mac with Microsoft Azure Active Directory credentials, eliminating the need to create and manage a local username and password on an end user’s Mac. This builds on the initial integration announced at last year's Jamf Nation User Conference, which included the ability to share inventory data from Jamf Pro to Microsoft Intune, apply conditional access and offer remediation paths – ensuring that trusted users are accessing corporate data from trusted applications o trusted devices. “How do you effectively manage Mac, Windows and everything else you have? You integrate the two best-of-breed standards in device management,” said Dean Hager, CEO, Jamf. “That’s what we did together in 2017, but now we are going one step forward to deliver unified ecosystem management. With Jamf and Microsoft EMS, end users will be able to get up, running and productive on their Mac faster than ever before, rather than spend their valuable time working on setup.” While you can consolidate macOS device inventory from Jamf in Intune today and enforce conditional access with remediation, the new Jamf and EMS integration will include:
“To manage and secure your organization while also providing a great productivity experience for your workforce, you need something that can manage the diversity of devices and applications in a modern workplace,” said Brad Anderson, corporate vice president, enterprise experiences and management, Microsoft. “With Microsoft and Jamf, organizations can consolidate endpoint management and empower macOS users, as well as give them an experience that feels familiar across all of their devices.” About Jamf Media Contact: |
