Research Innovations, Inc. Hires Head of Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Sourav Mandal

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Research Innovations, Inc. is excited to welcome the arrival of Dr. Sourav Mandal as Head of A.I. Mandal will be leading RII's machine learning and data science initiatives.

Dr. Mandal earned his Bachelor's degree from M.I.T. and his Ph.D. from The University of California, Berkeley, both in Physics.  Prior to joining RII, he served as a Lead Research Scientist at Two Six Labs, where he used machine learning to solve cybersecurity problems, and as Chief Data Scientist at Radiant Solutions, where he led programs using machine learning to forecast strategic events for national security customers.  Dr. Mandal was also a researcher at the Institute for Defense Analyses, where he advised the Office of the Secretary of Defense on how to conduct, and evaluate the results from, cybersecurity testing of military systems.
