The Economist Events' Finance Disrupted Conference to Uncover Whether Today's Financial World is Prepared for the Future


The Economist Events is pleased to announce that "Finance Disrupted: The next ten years" will be held on October 2, 2018 at Current at Pier Sixty, located between 23rd, 24th Streets, and The West Side Highway South in New York City. The Finance Disrupted conference will bring together over 250 policymakers, business executives, and thought leaders to engage in analysis and debate over whether or not today's financial system is prepared for the future.

The event will delve into how regulation and financial technology shifts have impacted the system for the past ten years, as well as what and who will be the biggest disruptors in the decade to come. Particular topics at the center of discussion include artificial intelligence, the future of regulation and fintech, cashless economies, and the blockchain and bitcoin frenzy. The conference will also feature one-on-one interviews with several financial and government leaders on what the next ten years will look like.
