Many companies have tasted the sweetness of "Intelligent Production." The number of employees in the production line of Wuxi Daika Wheel Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was reduced from 800 to 300 and the annual per capita production increased from 4,300 to 10,000. The IoT is also closely integrated into urban development. In the Hongshan IoT town, solar intelligent dustbin can be seen everywhere. When garbage approaches, the dustbin door will open and will start deodorization automatically. Wuxi has implemented over 300 IoT application demonstration projects, including 21 national-level projects. Zhou Wendong, director of the Wuxi Commission of Economy and Information Technology, said that the IoT has become a new gene and pillar of Wuxi's economic development.
