OpenLegacy Sees Significant Growth in the First Half of 2018

RESTON, Virginia, September 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --

OpenLegacy has experienced significant growth in sales and personnel since January of 2018, especially in North America.

The expansion includes a team increase of 26% focused on meeting the demand for OpenLegacy technology in new regions, especially major North American hubs, such as New York, Chicago, and Dallas, as well as Mexico. Platform Support members have been added to manage the growth generated by the regional expansion and increasing global customer base.

OpenLegacy accelerates digital transformation for large institutions with extensive legacy infrastructures, such as mainframes, midrange systems and applications such as Oracle and SAP. The OpenLegacy solution uses microservice-based APIs to quickly extend these legacy systems to deploy innovative products to quickly meet the demands of connected consumers on mobile, cloud and the web.  Existing complex architectures are bypassed, enabling projects to be delivered in days or weeks instead of months and years.

"The additions not only support our growth, but also ensurethat we can provide smooth operations to our clients who are transforming their own operations," said Hans Otharsson, Chief Customer Success Officer, OpenLegacy. "By enabling quicker approaches to microservices and APIs, our clients can keep up with the speed of business and avoid years-long digital transformation projects."

To increase support for OpenLegacy's global customer base, Ilan Tsabary has joined OpenLegacy as vice president of product management; Yaron Atad as director of presales for EMEA; and Nancy Beckman as VP of global marketing. Regional sales managers have also been added for Europe and Asia.

Mr. Tsabary previously worked in product management at companies like HP Enterprise, SysAid, and ReSec Technologies. Mr. Atad is a seasoned veteran from Amdocs in global operations. Ms. Beckman was VP of global marketing communications for Software AG and formerly held senior marketing positions at webMethods.

To parallel the growth of R&D, the team in Israel has moved to larger offices to handle the increase in technical staff. The team in Mexico has also moved to a larger office to reflect Latin America's expanding market opportunities.

"Established enterprises must be able to innovate like agile newcomers," said Zeev Avidan, Chief Product Officer, OpenLegacy. "Our technology helps them innovate 10x faster, and the growth in our own team will get those solutions in front of them at a similar speed."
