Merrill Corporation Announces Sale of Marketing and Communication Solutions Business to Toppan VintageMerrill Corporation (Merrill), www.merrillcorp.com, a global leader in SaaS (News - Alert) solutions for M&A, communications and secure business collaboration today announced it has closed a definitive agreement to sell its Marketing and Communication Solutions ("MCS") division to a subsidiary of Toppan Vintage, Inc. ("Toppan Vintage") www.toppanvintage.com, whose parent is Toppan Leefung Pte. Ltd., www.toppanleefung.com. Toppan Vintage is a leading international financial printing, communications and technology company. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. errill's employees within the company's Marketing and Communication Solutions division will transition to a subsidiary of Toppan Vintage. The two companies will work closely over the coming months to ensure a seamless transition. The newly created subsidiary entity will rebrand as Toppan Merrill and become part of Toppan Printing Co., Ltd., creating the leading printing group in the world. Headquarters of the combined company will be in Tokyo, with approximately US$14 billion in annual sales.
