D2L JOINS AMERICAN REFINING GROUP TO TRAIN EMPLOYEES OF AMERICA'S OLDEST REFINERYFUSION 2018, Houston, TX, July 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Global learning technology leader D2L announced American Refining Group Inc. (ARG) will use the D2L learning platform Brightspace to train and develop the skills of its diverse and multigenerational staff. ARG, the owner of the Bradford, Pa., refinery established in 1881, is one of the community’s largest employers. In a highly regulated industry in which safety and compliance trainingis crucial, ARG needed to modernize its training model and help its employees take advantage of learning that goes beyond minimum requirements. Together with D2L, ARG is digitizing and centralizing training as it switches over to a blended learning environment— mixing computer-based modules with classroom engagement.
