Wibbitz Releases New Research on Marketers Content Strategies for Video, Revealing Opportunities to Improve Performance by Optimizing Budgets and OperationsNEW YORK, June 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Wibbitz, the leading AI-powered video creation company, today released the findings of its new research Navigating the Video Content Marketing Landscape, revealing that while online video continues to be a priority for marketers, inefficient creation processes and tools are a limiting factor when it comes to increasing volume and investing in distribution. In May 2018 Wibbitz surveyed more than 1,000 marketers across various industries; more than half (56 percent) use online video in their marketing strategies today, and 61 percent have plans to in 2019. Of respondents using video, over 42 percent indicated that they use external agencies or freelancers to produce videos, the same amount also stated the biggest challenge they face with video content marketing is a lack of resources, knowledge or talent. As marketing budgets must be allocated for both video creation and paid distribution, leveraging more efficient video creation tools will result in faster delivery of premier-quality video stories, decrease communication issues that occur with outsourcing, and free up budgets to allocate more for distribution efforts. The study revealed the primary purposes behind online video as wel as the volume, means, and costs associated with content marketing strategies:
"Content marketing is one of the most impactful ways to connect with audiences and, by incorporating online video, marketers are able to tell their story through the medium and channels that resonate best with today's consumers," said Zohar Dayan, CEO and Co-Founder at Wibbitz. "The results of our study underscore the need for marketers to evaluate how they spend their limited time and resources, and seek out tools that power beautiful, but efficient, video creation. At Wibbitz we've witnessed the positive impact that efficient video processes and tools make on our partners' customer acquisition and engagement." The research also covers the types of videos produced, how they're distributed, and performance on various social platforms:
