Kaplan to offer free online Certified Financial Planner™ exam prep workshop

Kaplan, a financial exam prep provider for over 77 years, will offer three free evenings of online instructor-led review sessions to help exam takers prepare for the upcoming Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP^®) exam.

"PrepFest" will be held July 10-12, geared towards preparing for the November 2018 CFP^® exam and beyond. This review workshop consists of engaging, instructor-led review sessions that focus on highly testable CFP^® exam topics. Sessions consist of two topic areas and are held from 7:30 - 9:00 pm (ET):

Session 1 - July 10

• Domains, Exam Format, Common Questions
• Life Insurance

Session 2 - July 11

• Gifting Taxation and Strategies
• Investment Diversification and Performance Measures

Session 3 - July 12

• Impact of 2017 Tax Act
• Types of Retirement Plans/Roth IRA
