Apogee National Content Coordinator to Join "Lessons Learned - Experience With Digital Signage in Higher Education" Webinar hosted by NERCOMP

Apogee will be participating in the June 21st Northeast Regional Computing Program (NERCOMP) webinar titled "Lessons Learned- Experience With Digital Signage in Higher Education." As the largest provider of managed networks and video solutions, Apogee's primary goal has been to provide colleges and universities with progressive solutions that allow them to focus on strategic goals. Apogee's services drive institutions to innovate by providing predictable funding models, paving the way for future-proof campuses and seamlessly delivering mission-critical technologies.

Sophie White, National Content Coordinator for Apogee's Campus Life Channel student engagement platform, will participate in the June 21st NERCOMP webinar. An innovative student success consultant who has visited hundreds of colleges and universities over the past 24 months, White has helped partner institutions use creative digital and social media strategies to promote strategic plan initiatives. Through her work managing a team of nationwide student ambassadors and consulting with campus partners, White collects and shares feedback to effectively leverage tools, including digital signage, to drive student success.

Ryan Cahoy, Managing Director of Rise Vision, and Marshall White, Senior Information Technology Manager at the University of New Hampshire, will also discuss their perspectives during the upcoming 60-minute webinar. Topics to be covered include: reasons for implementing a digital signage solutin; best practices for identifying key campus stakeholders; content management; technology support structures; future digital signage technologies; and popular technology systems to evaluate. The session will ultimately provide viewers with insight to implementing and managing an engaging and professional system from start to finish; creating a balance between local and university-wide content; and higher-level strategies for using digital signage as a tool to promote institution-wide strategic initiatives.

"We are honored to share best practices for driving student engagement on campus," said Mark Flood, Apogee's Regional Vice President - Northeast. "During our countless visits to colleges and universities in the Northeast, my team has seen the efficacy of using student-centered communication efforts - from Wi-Fi to Snapchat - to promote strategic goals around recruitment, retention, and persistence. Sophie has incredible experience both as a student ambassador and now as a leader in the campus space, and her strategies apply to student success conversations on every campus."

The webinar will be hosted by NERCOMP on June 21st, 2018 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Register for the live webinar at: https://nercomp.org/forms/meeting/Microsite/dss18
