Inaugural U.S. Haxe Summit Kicks Off This Week in Seattle

SEATTLE, May 2, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- FlowPlay, creator of the most powerful immersive gaming platform, will host the inaugural U.S. Haxe Summit this week. Taking place from Thursday, May 3 through Saturday, May 5 at the Hilton Seattle, the three-day immersive conference will bring together speakers and attendees from around the world to discuss Haxe – an open-source toolkit used to build games, applications, and frameworks. The event is being hosted in partnership with the Haxe Foundation and marks the first time the conference, which previously took place in locations across Europe, is being hosted in the United States. 

Through a variety of in-depth sessions and technical workshops, attendees will get a comprehensive look at the different ways Haxe and the ecosystem of Haxe-related technologies can be leveraged. Speakers will be showcasing some of the most ambitious and interesting Haxe projects of today while discussing the future of cross-platform development. To ensure the conference is accessible to developers at all stages of their careers, event host FlowPlay is giving away free admission to the first 50 students from Seattle-area universities who request tickets through the official Haxe Summit website. These students will learn the basics of Haxe by writing a simple game during an introductory workshop.
