SecurityFirst, a provider of data-centric cyber solutions, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Richard Vaughn and Nicholas Waddell, both Director of Channel Sales at SecurityFirst, to its prestigious list of 2018 Channel Chiefs. The executives on this annual list represent top leaders in the IT channel who excel at driving growth and revenue in their organization through channel partners.

Channel Chief honorees are selected by CRN's editorial staff on the basis of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community, and strategies for driving future growth and innovation. Each of the 2018 Channel Chiefs has demonstrated loyalty and ongoing support for the IT channel by consistently promoting, defending and executing outstanding channel partner programs.

Vaughn is an industry veteran with an impressive 30-year career implementing and driving successful channel programs for the IT industry. Previously, he was with Toshiba (News - Alert) America Information Systems, where he led the channel sales team since 2004, and named US Channel Chief in 2014. In 2016, he was recognized by CRN Magazine as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Channel Chiefs.

Waddell has worked in sales management and business development for nearly 35-years, operating across the entire spectrum of the channel partner community, developing channel programs, strategic relationships and alliances. Prior to SecurityFirst, he worked for Cylance (News - Alert) Inc., developing the strategic channel initiative and programs for their Cybersecurity Consulting Services offerings, and also Ingram Micro, where he built the vertical business model, structure and vertical market channel programs, nearly tripling the business in four years.
