Canadian BestLifeRewarded Innovations Inc. to be Recognized Once Again on the World Stage at the 1st World NCD Congress in Chandigarh, India

TORONTO, Oct. 13, 2017 /CNW/ - BestLifeRewarded Innovations' behaviour change platform has been recognized once again on the world stage as a best practices approach for changing lives of its participating members.

Following their presentation at the Canada India Health Summit in Delhi, India in April 2017, the BestLifeRewarded Innovations team was invited to present their leading evidence-based platform at the First World Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Congress in Chandigarh, India on November 5th, 2017.

"Curiously, we tend to be a 'best kept secret' in the Canadian market, even though our platforms service over 12,000 Canadian companies and 3,000,000+ adult Canadians," said Susanne Cookson, co-founder of BestLifeRewarded Innovations. "We are thrilled to reinforce the leadership and profile of Canadian healthcare innovators at this important scientific Congress. NCD's continue to cost Canadians billions of dollars every year. We've been seeing positive results with our evidence-based platforms and continue to demonstrate this on a larger scale with our 'Healthy Economics' initiative launching in mid-November. Healthy-Economics will provide organizations with the projected costs for five key modifiable risk factors and projected near-term savings with some small changes. Our goal is to create a sense of urgency to invest in preventio and ultimately, save the Canadian economy $100 million in just 5 years in partnership with the Economic Club of Canada. BestLifeRewarded Innovations invented a multi-faceted health behaviour change platform, and has been leading the change with innovative, evidence-based approaches for over 7 years."

Launched in Canada in 2010, the BestLifeRewarded® national platform brings the benefits of multiple health behaviour change models together to create the best conditions for sustainable health action for members participating in the program. The system, through a proprietary Health Risk Assessment (HRA) questionnaire, uses a complex segmentation algorithm to tailor the experience for each member based on their health profile, stage of health behaviour change and propensity to adhere to lifestyle/medications. Members earn points for engaging in each "small steps" activity. Additional questionnaires in the "MyBLR" dashboard page, e.g. conviction/confidence levels have been designed to help the system provide members with the most meaningful tips for that individual. The system asks members to repeat some of the questionnaires to continue to provide the most targeted/effective user experience and to capture member progress over time vs. baseline data.
