BERLIN, Oct. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The annual Media Intelligence Congress of FIBEP, one of the world's most important media intelligence organization, came together in Berlin between October 4-6 2017.

The Congress began with the opening remarks from Florian Laszlo, Secretary General of FIBEP. Following the opening session, FIBEP General Assembly had taken place on the first day and Johna Burke is elected as the new president.

The overall theme for the congress was Media Intelligence and the New Paradigm of Brand Communication.

First day of the FIBEP was also a kind of meeting day for the provisional members who were announced as permanent members at the end of the day and Newsmeter was one of them.

A great number of leading experts in media intelligence attended to FIBEP. Technology, social media monitoring, marketing fundamental to communication, and public relations were the highlighted topics during the Congress and the event was also very important for networking collaborations of various avant-garde projects.

An Entirely International Speakers List

Congress hosted speakers from all around the world. Argentina, Netherlands, Turkey, Italy, USA and various other countries' experts were on the stage during the program.

The most remarkable session of the first day was "Privacy, Data Protection and Copyright in Media Inteligence" and the presentation of Christophe Dickés and Sophia Karakeva zoomed the audience's attention to the copyright issues with the question of "What are the next steps for EU copyright reform?"

Towards to the end of the first day Super Networking Session had taken place on the eve of the gala dinner.

How Many Pictures Do You Take?

Vice President of M-Brain, Joost Drieman took his place on the stage and gave rise to thoughts about the recent technological habits with his memorable comparison.

Right after Joost Drieman, Lars Stegelmann from Nielsen Sports was on the stage and he had an impressive approach for brand equity and sponsoring investment measurements.

Following all of the second day's presentations, there were interactive panel discussions attended by speakers and audiences, followed by networking breaks where the delegates and members had a chance to meet and had networking opportunities.

The Anatomy of Fake News

The theme for the 3rd and the last day of the FIBEP Congress was "How to analyze in an alternative facts world?" With respect to this theme, presentations were focused on facts of technical issues such as artificial intelligence.

Newsmeter Co-founder and Head of Product Design, Seyithan Teymur, got his place on the stage with his presentation titled "The Anatomy of Fake News" which grabbed the attention of the audience.

There was a surprising opening slide of the presentation in which a quote from Mark Twain was given. The quote didn't actually belong to him and this was the exact point of the presentation -to create awareness against fake news.
