MBX Receives ISO 9001:2015 Certification for Quality Management

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill., Aug. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --  MBX Systems, a provider of custom server hardware engineering, manufacturing and support services, today announced that it has received ISO 9001:2015 certification indicating its compliance with the latest edition of ISO 9001 quality management standards. MBX completed the required audit with independent testing service provider TUV Rheinland 12 months before the three-year recertification deadline, becoming one of the first companies in its sector to receive the new ISO 9001:2015 certification.

The audit involved reviewing the extensive systems that MBX has established to ensure consistent build quality and customer satisfaction, including the company's proprietary Signal shop floor application and Forge imaging/testing environment. The auditor also examined core business metrics and key performance indicators such as defect rates and repeat business that measure the success of those systems, along with MBX processes for activities such as internal audits, management reviews, problem resolution and continual improvement.

The certification marks MBX's 12th sccessful audit since its initial ISO 9001 certification in 2006 and validates the company's conformance with the changes enacted with the release of the ISO 9001:2015 standard in September 2015. Key revisions included an increased emphasis on process-based quality management, increased attention to the role of top management in promoting and implementing quality processes, and integration of risk management considerations in all aspects of the quality management system.
