TRI ATLAS Solutions (TRI ATLAS) Joint Venture Awarded 8a Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services II (STARS II) IDIQ ContractALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- TRI ATLAS Solutions JV (a Joint Venture between Atlas Group Limited and TRI-COR Industries, Inc. (TCI)), a leading provider of enterprise information technology solutions, has been awarded an 8(a) STARS II IDIQ contract by the GSA in Constellations 1 and 2 and all 4 Functional Areas in both Constellations. 8(a) STARS II is a $10B Total Ceiling Value vehicle with a seven year period of performance. Under GSA's STARS II 8(a) Contract, TRI ATLAS offers comprehensive information technology, engineering and streamlined, computer facilities management services. The 8(a) STARS II GWAC is designed to promote 8(a) small business utilization when purchasing information technology (IT) services or IT service-based solutions for the federal government. Using 8(a) STARS II enables federal agencies to access 8(a) firms through an established contract vehicle instead of traditional, open market methods—saving time and money. STARS II partners must meet GSA requirements for technical proficiency and are grouped into Constellation I and Constellation II based on recognized credentials, such as Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) certification. With both CMMI-DEV 3 and CMMI-SVC 3 certificatins, TRI ATLAS is included in the selective Constellation II allowing the company to also receive directed contract awards valued up to $4M.
