BluVector Joins IBM Security App Exchange Community

BluVector, a leader in applying supervised machine learning to detect and respond to advanced security threats at digital speed, today launched BluVector for QRadar. BluVector for QRadar leverages IBM's (News - Alert) security intelligence technology to enable security teams to detect and investigate advanced cyber threats more quickly and accurately before harm is done to the organization.

The new application is freely available to the security community through IBM Security App Exchange, a marketplace where developers across the industry can share applications based on IBM Security technologies. As threats are evolving faster than ever, collaborative development amongst the security community will help organizations adapt quickly and speed innovation in the fight against cybercrime.

Built with patented machine learning, BluVector's Intel (News - Alert) grade, high-speed solution enables security operation center analysts and incident response teams to gain actionable insight on advanced threats in real-time, helping to reduce detection and response times from months to minutes.

The new BluVector application leverages IBM QRadar, the company's security intelligence platform. The platform analyzes data across an organization's IT infrastructure in real-time to identify potential security threats, to further simplify the approach to advanced cyber thret identification and prevention at the network level. Leveraging QRadar's new open application programming interfaces, IBM customers will be able to add BluVector sensors as log sources and pivot from the QRadar event details to the BluVector event view. For users of IBM Resilient, BluVector's output can populate events and update events within that incident response platform as well.
