Etisalat to present smart services at GITEX [ITP.net (United Arab Emirates)](ITP.net (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) UAE telecoms operator Etisalat has announced its participation in GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2014, where it will demonstrate a range of smart technologies that the company believes represent "unlimited possibilities of a highly connected future". "Etisalat's transition from a telecom service provider into an integrated service provider reinforces its commitment to lend to the ICT vision of the UAE's wise leadership," the telco said in a statement. "Etisalat's robust network is the fundamental enabler, upon which the telco is dedicated to develop and deliver ICT solutions that will connect the nation's people, businesses and government." Etisalat's displays at GITEX will include "interactive zones that provide visitors a hands-on experience of various consumer and business oriented domains". The company hailed the week-long event as "a platform to network with industry peers and exchange knowledge, ideas and technologies".
