Bikroy.com browsing free for Robi subscribers(United News of Bangladesh Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Dhaka, Aug 31 (UNB) - Robi Axiata Limited, the second largest mobile operator in Bangladesh in terms of revenue, has signed an agreement with Bikroy.com that will allow all subscribers free browsing on the online site from Monday. ikroy.com has the largest selection of popular second hand items all over Bangladesh. On the website one can easily buy and sell almost everything and make great deals. The partnership is mutually exclusive for both parties. The agreement was signed by Martin Malmstrom, Head of Bikroy.com, and Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, Chief Operating Officer of Robi Axiata Limited, on behalf of their respective organisations. Supun Weerasinghe, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, and Matiul Islam Nowshad, Chief Corporate and People Officer, Robi Axiata Limited, were present at that time. Talking at the signing ceremony, Supun Weerasinghe said, "The mobile phone has become ubiquitous in our country and the proliferation and uptake of mobile banking services and other financial services which make moving money more convenient is just one step away from online shopping convenience." Without any browsing charge, Robi subscribers now have an easy avenue to buy or sell on Bikroy.com, he said, adding that currently eight percent of mobile users of Bangladesh use smartphones which is a great platform to utilise the online marketplace. Martin Malmstrom, Head of Bikroy.com, said, "Within only two years of operations, Bikory.com has become the largest marketplace in Bangladesh. "We hope that through this partnership we can empower Robi's subscribers to increase their standard of living while buying and/or selling mobile phones, laptops, motorbikes, cars and birds for great prices."
