Intel discloses more details of Core M processors [T-break Tech (Middle East)]


(T-break Tech (Middle East) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Intel has published more details about its upcoming 14mm Core M processors which will be the first chip to be based on Broadwell micro architecture. According to Intel, the purpose of Broadwell microarchitecture and low fabrication will innovate devices as thin as 8mm where Core M chips will most likely work its way to Windows 8.1 tablets. The Core M chips will be twice as fast as Intel’s CPUs while graphics performance will be seven-fold. Furthermore, Broadwell will improve battery life with cooler performances. Intel says that we will start seeing devices powered by Core M towards the end of 2014.
