Bomgar Again Named a Market Share Leader in the Worldwide Enterprise Clientless Remote Support Software Market

JACKSON, Miss. --(Business Wire)--

Bomgar (News - Alert), the leader in enterprise remote support solutions, today announced that it has again been ranked number one in the enterprise clientless remote support software market in IDC's (News - Alert) Worldwide Clientless Remote Support Software 2013 Vendor Shares: Top 6 Market Share Leaders report. The report analyzes and compares the top remote support software vendors by revenue-based market share.

For the second consecutive year, IDC concluded that Bomgar has the most market share among enterprise customers, growing 26 percent in annual revenue from companies with at least 1,000 employees. In the overall clientless remote support software market, Bomgar was the fourth ranked vendor with a significant annual growth of 20.7 percent.

The Bomgar Remote Support Solution enables thousands of organizations worldwide to provide technical support to and from nearly any device or platform, no matter where support representatives or end-users are located. Using Bomgar, IT service desks, customer support centers and MSPs can securely access and fix all of their systems, from remote desktops and laptops to servers and switches to smartphones and tablets.

"Bomgar focuses exclusively on internal employee or external customer remote support technology with a sweet spot at the enterprise level," said Rob Brothers, IDC analyst. "In 2013, Bomgar saw revenue of $52.4 million, which represents a 20.7 percent increase over 2012 revenue. The company continues to improve and enhance its support solution offerings, by listening to its customers and focusing on the enterprise, providing remote support solutions for service desks and customer support organizations. The IDC report also states, "The need for remote support within both the enterprise and the small and medium-sized business (SMB) workplace is greater than it has ever been.
