Briers, who has been working in the interior construction industry for the past 18 years, will be a key member of the corporate management team, with overall responsibility for delivery of Summertown's projects. Before joining Summertown Briers held, for more than seven years, a management position with UAE design and construction services firm ALEC, working on major construction projects across various sectors such as hospitality, retail, and education. Prior to that he was a partner in an interiors contracting business in South Africa. He holds a BSc degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Free State, South Africa and a Masters in Project Management from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
