Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers (b)(c)(d) As previously announced, effective on June 30, 2014, John L. Workman, Chief Executive Officer of Omnicare, Inc. (the "Company"), retired as Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company. Solely for purposes of determining compensation to be paid to Mr. Workman under his employment agreement, Mr. Workman will be treated as having completed the term of his employment agreement. As previously announced, effective on June 30, 2014, Nitin Sahney, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company, became President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of the Company.
