HP announces two new Officejet Pro printers for small businesses

(United News of Bangladesh Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Dhaka, Jun 25 (UNB) Printer specialists HP announced two new Officejet Pro printers today, each positioned for small business owners searching for quality on a budget. The Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One and Officejet Pro 6230 ePrinter are designed to deliver expensive looking prints at a low cost to customers. On top of a lower printing page cost, consumers can save money on ink as each printer is eligible for HP's Instant Ink service.

HP states that the Officejet models produce prints that rival laser printers at a lower cost per print than expensive machines offer. When compared to laser All-in-One units, HP says that the cost is 50 percent less per page. Each printer is capable of printing speeds clocked at 18 pages per minute.

Keeping with the moving pace of mobile and business evolution, HP offers a number of print options for the Officejet Pros. Consumers are able to print through HP's channels including wireless direct and ePrint. Options for different platforms are included with AirPrint, the ability to print from Android devices, Samsung inOS printing and Google Cloud Print.

oth of the new Officejet Pro printers qualify for the use of HP's Instant Ink program. The program allows HP printer owners to enroll in a monthly plan for original HP ink cartridges. Plans revolve around the number of pages printed, rather than focusing on the toner or cartridges themselves. Currently, the program is only available to residents of the United States and United Kingdom.

The HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One launches July 1 with a starting price of $180. The Officejet Pro 6230 ePrinter won't launch until September 1, but features a lower price point of $99.
