Intellicheck Mobilisa's barZapp™ Mobile Age-Verification App Chosen by Restaurant ChainPORT TOWNSEND, Wash. --(Business Wire)-- Intellicheck Mobilisa, Inc. (NYSE MKT:IDN), a global leader in identity solutions and wireless security systems, has been chosen by a Texas-based restaurant chain to provide its barZapp™ age-verification smartphone app. BarZapp is an ID-checking mobile app that allows a user's smartphone to check an ID card. With barZapp, users can aim their smartphone camera at the barcode on a driver's license to instantly read and verify the encoded information and display the results-including the bearer's name, date of birth, ID expiration and ID number. BarZapp incorporates Intellicheck Mobilisa's patented ID Check software that instantly verifies the authenticity of state and provincial driver's licenses and ID cards, as well as military and government ID cards. BarZapp is available on both Google and Apple (News - Alert) App Stores. Intellicheck Mobilisa announced its contract to provide barZapp at all 16 locations of a Texas-based restaurant chain. The restaurant had been testing barZapp at an individual location for several months. Based on the effectiveness of the app, the restaurant chain has contracted with Intellicheck Mobilisa to provide the app for a full year at all 16 locations throughout Arkansas, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
