HindSite Software Surveys Green Industry Professionals

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) St. Paul, MN (PRWEB) January 17, 2014 HindSite Software today announced the release of their second annual Green Industry Benchmark Survey. The 41-question survey, which takes about fifteen minutes to complete, asks a series of questions related to business practices, marketing practices, Human Resources practices, educational practices and business results.

In February, the company plans to release the second annual Green Industry Benchmark Report detailing the survey results. The benchmark report is designed to help green industry businesses better understand how they compare to their competitors and take steps to better compete with their peers.

“The information in last year’s Green Industry Benchmark Report was invaluable to green industry contractors,” said Chad Reinholz, HindSite’s Marketing Manager. “With more than 350 responses, it was the first comprehensive look at green industry practices and the outlook for the future.” Last year’s Green Industry Benchmark Report clocked in at nearly 30 pages and was downloaded by hundreds of green industry contractors. This year’s survey includes many of the same topics, but focuses more on human resources related issues, like finding applicants, typical employee wages, benefits and more.

“Our report last year indicated that green industry businesses were optimistic about the future and that they expected hiring to pick up,” explains Reinholz. “This year, we decided to include more questions that help business owners learn what their peers are doing to improve the quality of their workforce.” Marketing tactics also take center stage in the survey. “With our new service business marketing solution, HindSite Connect, we want to see what marketing tactics are working,” explained Reinholz. “Green industry contractors traditionally get the majority of their leads from referrals. In the survey, we want to see what other tactics they’re trying and what impact they are making on revenue, so other contractors can better manage their marketing efforts.” Green industry contractors interested in adding their voice to the survey results can complete the survey at: http://survey.constantcontact.com/survey/a07e8oxo394hpd4aucq/start.
