Hungary's fixed-line penetration rate edges down in November 2013. [IntelliNews - Weekly Reports](IntelliNews - Weekly Reports Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The market penetration of fixed-line services in Hungary, measured by the number of subscriptions per 100 people, edged down to 30.06% at end-November 2013 from 30.14% a month earlier, the National Communications Authority (NHH) informed. The penetration per households stood at 63.22%, slightly up from 62.06% in the previous month. There were 3.039mn fixed-line subscriptions at the end of November, down from 3.043mn a month earlier. The number of conventional landline connections dropped by 1.3% m/m to 1.77mn, while connections through cable television networks increased by 1.3% m/m to 691,410.
