Boulder sees some morning snow, with 1 to 2 inches expected today

Snow was expected to begin falling at 11 a.m. but arrived a bit sooner, with show falling in various parts of the county around 9 a.m.

The forecast calls for 1 to 2 inches of snow throughout the day, with a 70 percent chance the snow continues after noon.


This afternoon's forecast calls for cloudy skies with a high near 25 and winds 7 to 10 mph with gusts as high as 16 mph. The overnight low is expected to be near 16.

Boulder saw 8.3 inches of snow Sunday.

Wednesday's forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high near 32 and winds 5 to 9 mph. The overnight low is expected to be near 5 to 7 mph.

Thursday's forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high near 35 and winds 3 to 8 mph. The overnight low is expected to be near 21.
